List your favourite televison shows:

from the present or the past...

An oldie, but a greatie.. Taxi ! ! !Jim Ignatowski rules, also Heroes from Lisa Inman

Fluff TV: Firefly; Sapphire and Steel; Dr Who (both old and new); Lexx; Medium; CSI; The Invaders; plus a few more

Can't not have Star trek (both old and new)

... and the Gerry Anderson supermarionation TV series: Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlett, etc. Very retro, but still watchable even after all this time. Who can remember the real-actor shows as well: UFO and of course Space 1999? FAB, man. (added by Crystal)

Got to be Bewitched with the delightful Elizabeth Montgomery. My favourite to watch on DVD after a trying day http://www.nostalgiacentral.com/images_tv/bewitched_047.jpeg

The Antiques Road Show

One of my favourite television shows is Doc Martin and series 3 of this just started last night... It's funny with stunning scenery and good storylines. (Posted by Bluelouis)

I can't believe it. ACL, and no-one's said Deadwood or Carnivale or Twin Peaks yet!!!??? I'll bet a circ report on dvd rentals would prove them as staff favourites. As well as them, I've been recently enjoying Green Wing, Flight of the Conchords, Spaced, Ideal, Six Feet Under, League of Gentlemen, Family Guy, Alan Partridge, and Lost. And the squishy feeling of my brain turning to jelly.

Greenacres http://www.tvland.com/shows/greenacres/ for seriously hokey]

Freaks and Geeks. Best American high school show ever, even if there was only one season.

Also that fabulous, very short running Dawson's Creek spin off show on about 8 years ago which I think was called Young Americans, if anyone remembers that.
